2020 Marching Band Information and History

The 2020 Season was cancelled due to the Pandemic.  This Site is undergoing revision.  It will be relaunched when ready.

We had an I-Term Marching Band Unit in 2021. It was fun, but we only had limited interest.

If Interest for a Marching Band builds, it can be reactivated and relaunched... quickly.        Let Mr. Ruhnke know if you are interested in joining and participating. He's Ready to Go!

2019 Season Recap

In 2018, the LILA Marching Band finished its second season on a high note. The Band performed in different parades and Forest Lake's own "Most Entertaining Unit" award.

At the end of season banquet, the staff distributed the yearly awards. This seasons winners were:

• Member of the Year - Rylee Bain

• Most Improved - Dani Meier

• Rookie of the Year - Paige Duffy

2018 Season Recap

In 2018, the LILA Marching Band had the first ever season of marching band for LILA. In only their first season, the LILA Marching Band took home the 3rd Place trophy for Marching Band in their class at the Minnesota State Fair across its entire duration!
